2012 NZSVO Travel Grants to attend 8th International Cool Climate Symposium (ICCS)

Rod Chittenden has been awarded the travel grant and will represent NZSVO at the 8th International Cool Climate Symposium (ICCS), 31 January to 4 February 2012, Hobart, Tasmania.

2011 Markhams Young Viticulturist Competition

Congratulations to Nick Paulin from Central Otago for winning the 2011 competition.

NZSVO are proud to sponsor a travel award to the winner of the Markhams Young Viticulture Award. This travel grant enables the winner to visit other grape growing regions.

The inaugural winner of this travel grant in 2010, Stuart Dudley has recently returned from his travel grant which took in South America and Europe. Stuart's trip report will be posted on this web site when it is received.

The NZSVO was formed in 1985 as an organisation with the aim to promote the dissemination of technical information in viticulture and oenology and related sciences for the benefits of the grape and wine industries of New Zealand.
