March 2004 NZSVO launches its web page and newsletter.
This is the first of our monthly newsletters, and with our associated web page, have been produced to provide you, our members, with news and developments within the grape and wine industry.
To obtain maximum benefit from both of these we need as much input from as many sources as possible. Throughout the web page there are opportunities for you to submit material. In addition there is an online forum to allow you to express your opinions and obtain information from other members.
It is our aim for this web page and it's monthly newsletter to become 'the homepage for the New Zealand grape and wine industry.'
After a number of years where are our main focus has been on arranging the speakers for the Bragato Conference we have, this year, gone back to arranging our own programme. We will be holding a Sauvignon Blanc workshop, with top overseas speakers, in Blenheim, in November
We are also in the early stages of organising a major international conference to be held in New Zealand in 2006.
You will be kept informed of developments of both events over the next few months through our newsletters
The information we are providing is for the benefit of our members. Non members are encouraged to subscribe to our newsletter. You will however be unable to access much of the information on our web page as this is in a members section requiring a password to access. Membership benefits and details can be obtained from our web page.
