Unified Wine & Grape Symposium
January 23 - 25, 2007 - Sacramento Convention Center, Sacramento, California
 Since the American Society for Enology and Viticulture (ASEV) and the California Association of Winegrape Growers (CAWG) joined forces to create the Unified Wine & Grape Symposium eleven years ago, it has become the largest wine and grape show in the nation.

Jointly organized by ASEV and CAWG, the show represents the collective experience, knowledge and background of the entire industry. The program of sessions addressing topics ranging from marketing and business to enology and viticulture is presented in cooperation with the American Vineyard Foundation; California State University, Fresno; Family Winemakers of California; Sonoma State University; University of California, Davis and Wine Institute.

Pinot Noir 2007
 29 January - 1February 2007 - Wellington
Come to Wellington, New Zealand for a four day celebration of New Zealand Pinot Noir, from 29 January – 1 February 2007, and visit New Zealand’s top Syrah and Aromatic producing regions either side.

NOTE Pinot Noir 2007 has moved been moved from its original dates to 29 January to 1 February 2007 due to a likely clash with the International Rugby Sevens.  

Starting on the Monday night (29 Jan) and culminating on the Thursday night (1 Feb) with the Gala Dinner.

The two symposia Nelson/Marlborough and Hawkes Bay are organizing on Aromatics and Syrah will now be held on the weekends either side of Pinot Noir 2007, giving those of you coming from overseas an extended programme of wine events to take part in.

Syrah Symposium - Hawke's Bay
Friday 26th and Saturday 27th January 2007
Attend the Syrah Symposium 2007 in Hawke’s Bay, a one day event specially put together by local winemakers. For all those who attend, this is a unique opportunity to taste some of New Zealand’s fi nest Syrahs alongside top international examples.
Among the guest speakers will be the world’s leading international Syrah commentator Remington Norman (UK) and leading winemakers Michael Havens, Havens Wine Cellars from the USA and Tom Carson, Yering Station from Australia. As well as commentary, discussion, tastings and tours of the region’s vineyards, the Syrah Symposium 2007 will also include a gourmet picnic
lunch and festival dinners hosted by local wine producers.
